Astragalus
This herb has long been a standard in eastern cultures and research is backing
up the claims that it is a healthy way to improve immune response and avoid
common illnesses. It can be taken on a daily, long-term basis with increasing
improvements.
Echinacea
The popularity of Echinacea has increased dramatically over the last few years
as people have begun to realize its potency in fighting off colds and flu.
Echinacea needs to be taken at the first sign of an illness at the rate of 2 to
3 capsules 3 times per day. It is often helpful to add 500mg of vitamin C with
each dose. When used correctly it is the closest thing to a cure for the common
cold.
Garlic
Often called "nature's penicillin", garlic is a magical herb. Its medieval
reputation for "warding off evil spirits" may have been due to its antibiotic
properties; those who used the herb survived the plagues while others did not.
